Rev. Moses Ward rededicated his life to Christ and was baptized in 2000. Shortly after being baptized he answered the call to the gospel ministry and was licensed in 2001 at Corinthian Baptist Church under Rev. Dr. Charlie Stallworth. He worked in several roles in the Baptist faith. He served as an usher; chaplain for Central District Youth Department; youth pastor for Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Corinthian Baptist Church, and Elim Christian Fellowship. Pastor Ward now holds the title of Moderator of the Central District Baptist Association and President of the Ames Branch NAACP.
Rev. Moses Ward is married to Sis. Breanne Ward, has 3 children (Madisen, Aliyah, and Moses Jr.), and 2 granddaughter. The guiding scripture of Rev. Ward’s life has remained Proverbs 18:16, “A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men” NKJV.

Her graduate alma mater is Drake University where she earned a Master’s in Counseling at Drake University. Her undergraduate degree was obtained at Iowa State University, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services with a specialization in Youth. Ward has license to provide mental health counseling for the state of Iowa. She has great faith that she will continue to be a vessel to carry out the work of her community and welcomes new opportunities to strengthen and empower others.
Sis. Breanne Ward was baptized at Corinthian Baptist Church at the age of 12. Her relationship with God grew and she became a part of the music ministry and dance ministry, Cheerleaders for Christ. She also worked in several roles in the Christian faith. She served as announcement clerk, youth choir director, New Life Choir member, Bible study and Sunday school teacher, Young Adult Ministry director at Corinthian Baptist Church, and youth choir director at Elim Christian Fellowship Church.
Sis. Breanne Ward is married to Rev. Moses Ward, has 3 children, and 2 granddaughters. Sis. Ward believes that if “God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 NKJV

Sayles was raised in church at King of Kings Missionary Baptist Church in Des Moines, Iowa and spent much of his youth with his grandparents Deacon Glenn & Darlene Sayles. His father Rev. William E. Smith, Sr. was influential in Rev. Sayles spirtual growth and decsion to accept his calling into the ministry. Rev. Sayles was licsensed to preach under Pastor Harrold Davis. Rev. Sayles joined Friendship Baptist Church in Ames, Iowa under the leadership & spirtual covering of Pastor Ward. Rev. Sayles was relicensed and ordained by Pastor Ward and has been at FBC for almost 13 years as a servant leader.
He is enjoys spending time with his wife & love of his life Amber Sayles and their 8 children! Rev.
